This music developed from decades of engagement with experimental music of all sorts, from many cultures and historical periods, some notated, some not. This recording was originally released under my now-defunct improvisation series, since renamed Explorations, which is my sonic sandbox for exploring the world of music, mostly centered on the marimba. I deleted some of the old tracks, added a new one, and remixed the everything. This one is better in every way.
