I first heard Erin Rogers's playing via an Instagram video where she was improvising with Alec Goldfarb, a friend and former student of mine. I was captivated by Erin's extensive range, dynamic sensibilities, and far-reaching creativity.

I reached out to her to ask if she'd be interested in doing some recording and playing and to my delight she was. I composed "Seed Science" and "Erin" for her and we discussed the works and our session several times over Zoom, phone, and email. When the day finally arrived the chemistry was fabulous and after three hours we had some tracks we were proud of. I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as we enjoyed playing them.
