This recording features "Slide & Hunter," a sonic realization of a graphic score I composed as part of my Sonic Peaks project (www.sonicpeaks.com) Slide and Hunter are two mountains in the Catskills, each just over 4,000 feet high. I climbed them both in one day, for a total of over 10 miles of hiking and 4,000+ vertical feet of climbing. And then the next day I created the graphic score inspired by that experience. (Click on that specific track to see part of the score.) The rest of the recording includes tracks that continue my exploration of acoustic marimba and various synths.
